Hi Naala. I totally get that. It’s a massive realization to see that for the first time. Especially while shame is at the helm, you are never truly free in your life, and are constantly being controlled by that inner critic shaming voice. For most people, it’s been there so long they don’t even notice it anymore.
The ones that see it for what it is often spend years trying to 'think' ‘therapise’ or 'feel' our way out of it. In my work I demonstrate that the the shift happens when you stop treating shame as a personal flaw and start seeing it as a system that needs eviction, and that’s what I help people do.

Actually, I try to think about it in a sort of daoist (sp?)…frame of mind, kind of being ok with where I am in life. Everyone’s kind of got issues, trauma is one of mine but it’s just a part of life, I’m not in a race or hurry, I’m okay with where I am right now. Having some privacy in today’s realm is important, wouldn’t yo say?
